Guatemala (Update)
On 31 May 2023, the Guatemala National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED per its acronym in Spanish) published an update on the rainy season in the country. There have been 89 severe rain weather incidents reported (12 increase since the 29 May report). There were at least 75,546 people affected in total (15,133 increase), 1,941 people were attended to (216 increase), 2,281 people are categorized as at risk, and 670 people were evacuated (215 increase). In addition, 334 houses were moderately damaged (37 increase) and 16 severely damaged (2 increase). The report is available at: CONRED
