On 4 January, the Mayor of Montgomery, Alabama, United States of America reported significant damage caused by a tornado that occurred in east of Montgomery. As of the afternoon update, there were 450 people remaining without power out of 750 initially reported. No deaths were reported. Additionally, media reported more than 50 houses, cars and business structures were affected. The damage was concentrated in Gloucester Mews, Eastwood Glen, Berryhill, and Halcyon Blvd. The reports are available at:  Mayor of Montgomery and WBRC
