Bolivia (Update)

On 1 April 2024, the Bolivia Ministry of Defense published an update on the heavy rains affecting the country. A total of 163 municipalities have been affected, 65 of which have declared a disaster situation and 27 have declared an emergency situation. There were 255,657 families affected, 1,529 homes destroyed, and 1,914 homes were affected. Additionally, there were 52 deaths reported and five people are reported as missing. Ecuador (Update)

On 1 April 2024, the Ecuador Risk Management Secretariat published an update on the heavy rains affecting the country since 29 January 2024. As of 1 April 2024, there were 163,755 people affected (29,648 increase since the 11 March report), 2,921 people directly impacted (1,691 increase), 37,336 homes affected (7,599 increase), and 231 homes destroyed (146 increase).
