The Shave the Shame Webinar was facilitated by the PAHO/WHO Country Office for The Bahamas and Turks and Caicos Islands, the Ministry of Health and Wellness, the Bahamas Cosmetologists and Barber Association, the Bahamas Psychologists Association, and the Healthy Bahamas Coalition. The aim of the event was to provide an educational forum for cosmetologists and barbers to combat the stigma surrounding mental health and well-being among men, and to provide information on positive self-care.
