The Immunization Newsletter is information about immunization programs in the Region of the Americas and beyond. The English and Spanish versions have been published since 1979, while the French and Portuguese versions began to be published in 2001 and 2019, respectively. The December 2025 issue of the Immunization Bulletin includes articles on 2024 vaccination coverage data published on July 2025 by WHO and UNICEF. The region shows progress in coverage, but there are still more than 1.4 million children who have not received doses. Brazil's immunization experience in developing new technologies and strategies.Brazil has launched Reference Centers for Special Immunobiologicals (CRIE). This edition have an article about the 6 guidelines published by CIM communication specialists on how to combat misinformation about vaccines for health workers, EPI Managers, Journalists, Educators, Communicators and Content creators. We have celebrated 31 years of the region free of wild polio and we publish some actions we made on the World Polio Day, 24th October, with Dr. Jarbas Barbosa message, and the interviews to CIM advisor made by content creators. In Colombia, they celebrated Vaccinator Day, and to finish, we publish the farewell to Washington Toledo, who passed away in 2025. |
