It highlights the results of the study carried out by the Secretariat on the adoption and implementation of technical guidelines, as well as the survey on the regulatory challenges faced in the Region. Discussions at VII CPANDRH shed light on the inability of PANDRH’s current governance model to facilitate linkages among the Region’s numerous integration and convergence initiatives, given the complexity of drug regulatory integration, convergence, and harmonization processes in the Americas.
