The Pan American Health Organization / World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) is pleased to invite you to the second webinar of the series Migration, Social Determinants, and Health Equity, organized by the Unit of Promotion and Social Determinants of Health, of the Department Social and Environmental Determinants for Health Equity (DHE).
General purpose
The purpose of this activity is to disseminate information and promote dialogue among relevant actors to foster interaction and exchange of experiences on these issues in the Americas. The aim is to strengthen health response capacities to migratory phenomena in the region.
This second webinar seeks to exchange information on migration as a center of health inequity and address how it interacts with other social determinants of health (SDH), as well as discuss the knowledge gaps on these issues with decision-makers, members of civil society organizations (SCOs), academics, and the general public.
