Join us on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 10:00 am (EDT) on the webinar WHO clinical treatment guideline for tobacco cessation and country-level implementation. In July 2024, WHO released its first-ever clinical treatment guideline for tobacco cessation in adults, providing a comprehensive set of technical guidance for WHO Member States to support 1.25 billion adult tobacco users to quit. This webinar engages policymakers, tobacco control staff, and tobacco cessation service providers and managers in discussing the guideline recommendations and country-level implementation.

Objectives of the webinar

  • To disseminate WHO cessation guideline recommendations.
  • To share WHO policies and tools that are relevant for WHO cessation guideline implementation.
  • To share actionable insights for implementing WHO cessation guideline in countries.
  • To facilitate dialogue for identifying challenges and exploring practical solutions for implementing WHO cessation guideline at the country level.
