On 5 March 2021, the Bolivia National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology (SENAMHI), issued a red alert notice from today until Monday, 8 March for the departments of Cochabamba, Beni, and Pando due to possible overflows of several rivers. Media is reporting recent heavy rain in Beni Department affected more than 3,000 families and left 800 families injured. On 3 March 2021, media reported that more than 700 families are at risk of losing their homes and being isolated in Zorca Pie de Cuesta, Los Mamones sector in Táchira State, Venezuela due to an overflow of La Zorquera stream that occurred in November of last year and caused great damage.
