On 11 September 2022, the British Columbia Wildfire Service, provided information about a fire that began on 30 August in Battleship Mountain, approximately 50 km west of Hudson's Hope District, British Columbia, Canada. The fire is classified as Out of Control. The District of Hudson's Hope has declared a State of Local Emergency and an Evacuation Order for the Municipality of Hudson's Hope, which has a population of approximately 1,000. Guatemala (Update) 

On 12 September 2022, the Guatemala National Coordination System for Disaster Reduction (CONRED per its acronym in Spanish), provided an update about the effects of the rainy season in the country. To date 1,628 incidents related to heavy rains have been reported. Between 1 April to 12 September, 2,892,654 people were affected and 42 deaths were reported. Colombia (Update) 

On 10 September, a media report provided information about the heavy rains in Antioquia Department, Colombia. According to the report, the rainy season has affected 450 bridges (destroyed and/or damaged). A total of 80 municipalities in Antioquia were affected. 50 municipalities declared a situation of public calamity. The report is available at: RNC Radio
