On 12 December 2022, the Ministry of the Interior and Public Safety of Chile (ONEMI per its acronym in Spanish) provided information regarding the wildfire in Melipilla, Chile. To date, 46 homes have been destroyed, 184 people were affected, and 1 death was reported. One shelter was opened with 30 occupants. The fire is 60% contained. The report is available at: ONEMI
