On 15 November 2023, the Ministry of Health of Paraguay published information on the heavy rains in the country. According to the information, 5 departments and 17 districts were affected by the rising waters caused by the heavy rains in the country. At least 2,552 families were affected. To date, a total of 1,281 medical interventions have been conducted, 19 people were injured and 6 deaths were reported. The Government opened 25 shelters.
