Guatemala (Update)
On 15 September 2023, the Guatemala National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED per its acronym in Spanish) published an update on the rainy season in the country. There have been 740 severe rain incidents reported (4 increase since the 12 September report). At least 2,052,106 people were affected (13,335 increase), 26,031 people were attended to (41 increase), 6,219 people were evacuated (16 increase), and 9,378 people remain considered at risk (3 decrease). In addition, 161 homes were severely damaged (3 increase). The report is available from: CONRED
