On 20 November 2022, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), provided information on the flash floods occurring in November in Saint Lucia. Around of 200 families had to evacuate their homes and at least 5,500 people were affected in the communities of Corinth, Bois drorange, and Grande Riviere in Gros Islet District.
