On 24 November 2024, the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management of Colombia (UNGRD per its acronym in Spanish) has reported ongoing technical assessments to evaluate the impact of recent flooding in La Guajira. These efforts include damage evaluations and aerial surveys conducted in Manaure, Riohacha, Dibulla, and the Palomino district. Concurrently, media sources estimate that approximately 207,000 individuals have been affected by the heavy rains, with 14 patients transferred to receive enhanced medical care. The reports are available from: UNGRD and ZonaCero
