On 26 January 2023, the Civil Defense of the state of Espírito Santo, provided information on the heavy rains occurring in the state. On 25 January 2023, the heavy rains caused flooding in the municipality of Mimoso do Sul, the water supply is reported as damaged and telephone access is disrupted.
