On 26 October 2022, the Trujillo State Government of Venezuela, provided information on the heavy rains affecting the state. The recent heavy rains have caused landslides, and increased flows, rivers, and creeks in several municipalities of Trujillo, namely: La quebrada San Nicolás, Escuque, los ríos Pocó, Buena Vista, Cheregüé, Vichu, and San Alejo. Additionally, more than 30 families were evacuated in Motatán municipality. A media report has indicated at least 100 families were affected by the rains, as well as 40 homes, 3 of which were destroyed. The reports are available at: Gobierno de Trujillo 1Gobierno de Trujillo 2 and Maduradas
