Ecuador (Update)
On 9 April 2024, the Ecuador Risk Management Secretariat published an update on the heavy rains affecting the country since 29 January 2024. There were 166,847 people affected (812 increase since the 4 April report), 2,961 people directly impacted (40 increase), 38,333 homes affected (254 increase), and 234 homes destroyed (two increase).
