PAHO/WHO and MoHW launched of retrofitting stage for PG Community Hospital

PAHO/WHO Belize and the Ministry of Health and Wellness launched the retrofitting stage for the Punta Gorda Community Hospital. As part of the EU-funded 'Health Sector Support Programme Belize Project', the Punta Gorda Community Hospital is one of five hospitals to be retrofitted to be smart, green, and safe.

PWR Dr. Noreen Jack, PAHO/WHO Health Emergencies Technical Officer Ms. Lealou Reballos, Deputy Regional Manager Dr. Jorge Sajia, PG Deputy Mayor Mr. Malcolm Galvez, and Administrator PG Town Council Mr. Melhem Espat joined the Design Team Mitchell-Moody Associates and Construction Team Guerra's Construction Ltd as they walked through, inspected, and assessed the changes to be made to the hospital.
