The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), in collaboration with the Government of Canada, is pleased to present a new free online course available on PAHO's Virtual Campus for Public Health. | Identify the stages, processes and resources needed to develop and implement an EIR, considering key actors, costs and transition strategies from non-individualized registries. |
| Define the key aspects for choosing the appropriate technology in an EIR, addressing acquisition models and essential variables for its efficient operation. |
| Analyze the importance of the quality of the data in the EIRs, as well as the monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to strengthen their reliability for decision making. |
| To understand the ethical principles in the collection, use and conservation of individualized data in the EIRs, guaranteeing its adequate management and protection. |
