An opportunity for a National PAHO Consultant (Adolescent and Women’s Health Field Officer) exits at Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) Guyana Country Office. The successful candidate would contribute to the improvement of adolescent health interventions at the national and regional levels to attain the SDG Goals. This programme is in collaboration with the Adolescent Health Unit and all other relevant departments in the Ministry of Health.
Experience:
• First degree in medicine or related field
• Master’s in public health or related social field
• At least 5 years previous experience in the implementation of adolescent and women’s health programmes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to all regions within Guyana.
• Exceptionally good knowledge of written and spoken English.
