The course will also cover the epidemiological, genetic, clinical, and initial management aspects of children with suspected cancer. Palliative Care in Pediatric Cancer (Available in Spanish)
The course will cover general aspects of palliative care in pediatric cancer, diagnosis and symptom management in children and adolescents with cancer, communication, and psychological, social, and organizational aspects. It will also provide information on end-of-life care and bereavement support.
Basic recommendations for managing pediatric chemotherapy (Available in Spanish)
This training aims to strengthen the skills of healthcare personnel in the safe, effective, and evidence-based management of pediatric cancer medications, thereby contributing to improved quality of care, healthcare team safety, and therapeutic outcomes for children and adolescents with cancer. Designed for professionals in hospital settings, the course covers key content on standardized protocols, biosafety, pharmacovigilance, and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
