Evaluation Improved Health of Women and Adolescent Girls in Situations of Vulnerability
This report presents the findings of the final evaluation for the "Improved Health of Women and Adolescent Girls in Situations of Vulnerability” (IHWAG) Project (henceforth “the Project”), implemented by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) with the financial support of the Government of Canada, through its Department of Global Affairs Canada (GAC). Its main objective was to improve the health of women and adolescent girls in situations of vulnerability in six Latin American countries: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Honduras, and Peru, with the participation of several PAHO headquarter entities1. With an approach based on human rights, gender, and cultural diversity, the Project aimed to reduce maternal mortality, adolescent fertility, and neonatal mortality by promoting equitable access to sexual and reproductive health services and empowering women and adolescents. |
