Regional Situation: Influenza-like illness (ILI) and severe acute respiratory infection (SARI) activity has shown a significant increase in North America, driven by the circulation of RSV and influenza. In other subregions, a general decline has been observed. SARS-CoV-2 activity continues to decrease in most subregions, except in Brazil, the Southern Cone, and the Andean region, where an upward trend has been noted. Influenza activity has increased in North America and the Caribbean, as well as in some countries within the Andean region and the Southern Cone. Lastly, RSV activity remains high in certain Caribbean countries and territories, though it is declining, while continuing to rise and remain elevated in North America. |
