Regional Situation: In general, North America and parts of the Caribbean maintain high levels of influenza activity mainly associated with influenza A(H1N1)pmdo9 and Influenza A(H3N2), while RSV activity remains at epidemic levels but declining. In the Caribbean, RSV activity is increasing compared to previous epidemiological weeks (EW). SARS-CoV-2 activity remains low in both North America and the Caribbean. In Central America, the circulation of influenza A(H1N1)pmd09 and RSV has decreased in recent weeks. SARS-CoV-2 activity remains unchanged from the previous EW. The Andean subregion maintains an increase in the detection of RSV and SARS-CoV-2. A decrease in influenza B detection is observed. Brazil/Southern Cone presents interseasonal levels for influenza B and RSV. In the case of SARS-CoV-2, its detection remains stable. |
