Regional Situation: In general, North America and parts of the Caribbean maintain high levels of influenza activity mainly associated with influenza A(H1N1)pmdo9 and Influenza A(H3N2), while RSV continues its downward trend. SARS-CoV-2 activity remains low in both North America and the Caribbean. In Central America, the circulation of influenza A(H1N1)pmd09 has decreased in recent weeks. RSV and SARS-CoV-2 activity remains unchanged from the previous epidemiological week (EW). The Andean subregion shows an increase in the detection of RSV, accompanied by a rise in SARS-CoV-2 and influenza detection. Brazil/Southern Cone presents an increase in influenza detection. In the case of SARS-CoV-2, a decrease is observed, while RSV detection remains stable. |
