Regional Situation: In general, North America and parts of the Caribbean are experiencing high levels of influenza activity, mainly associated with influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 and influenza A(H3N2), while RSV activity continues to decline. SARS-CoV-2 activity remains low in both North America and the Caribbean. In Central America, influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 circulation has decreased in recent weeks. RSV activity is increasing, while SARS-CoV-2 activity remains stable compared to the previous epidemiological week (EW). The Andean subregion remains stable in SARS-CoV-2 circulation compared to previous weeks, with an increase in RSV and influenza detection. Brazil/Southern Cone shows an increase in influenza and RSV detection. SARS-CoV-2, on the other hand, is showing a decrease. |
