Regional Situation: In general, North America and parts of the Caribbean are continuing the decline in influenza activity, mainly associated with influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 and influenza B, while RSV activity remains on a downward trend. SARS-CoV-2 activity remains low in North America, while its circulation is increasing in the Caribbean. In Central America, the circulation of influenza A(H1N1)pdm09, after decreasing for a few weeks, is now showing a new rise in activity. RSV activity remains stable compared to the previous epidemiological week (EW), while SARS-CoV-2 circulation is decreasing. The Andean Subregion shows stability in the circulation of both SARS-CoV-2 and RSV compared to previous weeks, with an added increase in the detection of influenza A(H3N2). Brazil/South cone continues with a rise in the detection of influenza A(H1N1)pdm09. SARS-CoV-2 circulation continues to decline, while RSV activity remains stable compared to the previous EW. The region reports a high detection of other respiratory viruses (ORV), with rhinovirus standing out in North America, Brazil, and the Southern Cone. In the Caribbean, there is also circulation of parainfluenza and adenovirus.
