Regional Situation: Influenza-like illness (ILI) and severe acute respiratory infection (SARI) activity has shown a marked increase in North America, associated with the circulation of RSV and influenza. In the other subregions, a general downward trend has been observed. Influenza activity has increased in North America and the Caribbean, reaching epidemic levels. RSV activity remains high and continues to rise in North America, while in the Caribbean, it has begun to decline. Lastly, SARSCoV- 2 activity continues to decrease in most subregions, except in Brazil, the Southern Cone, and the Andean subregion, where an upward trend has been observed. |
