Influenza A(H3N2) remains the predominant subtype among subtyped samples in all subregions, except for the Andean subregion, where influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 predominates. RSV circulation remains at low levels (<1%), while SARS-CoV-2 positivity continues to decline, reaching 5.2%. Meanwhile, the circulation of other respiratory viruses (ORV) has declined steadily since early October, with a regional positivity rate of 1.5%, with rhinovirus and parainfluenza being the most frequently detected. |
