Regional Situation: In general, North America and parts of the Caribbean continue to see a decline in influenza A(H1N1)pmd09 and influenza B activity. RSV activity is at interseasonal levels in North America and has remained stable in the Caribbean compared to previous epidemiological weeks (EW). SARS-CoV-2 activity remains low in North America; however, it has shown an increase in the Caribbean. In Central America, influenza A(H1N1)pmd09 circulation continues its downward trend in recent EW, with a positivity rate of 16.8%. RSV activity has remained stable, and SARS-CoV-2 continues to have low circulation. The Andean subregion maintains a stable trend in SARS-CoV-2 circulation, with an increase in the detection of Influenza A(H3N2). The rise in RSV circulation also continued, showing a positivity rate of 13.4%. In Brazil/Southern Cone, influenza A(H1N1)pmd09 circulation remains at high levels and shows a stable trend compared to the previous EW, with a positivity rate of 17.9%. SARS-CoV-2 detection remains low. RSV shows a stable trend with a positivity rate of 2.8%. In the region, the positivity rate (8.1%) for other respiratory viruses (ORV) has decreased, with Rhinovirus being notable in North America, as well as in the Andean region, Brazil, and the Southern Cone. Parainfluenza circulation has been detected in the Caribbean.
