Regional Situation: Influenza activity in the Americas continues to decline. SARS-CoV-2 activity remains low and stable. For RSV, regional circulation shows an upward trend. In North America, influenza activity remains at interseasonal levels. In the Caribbean, circulation remains high with a positivity rate of 14.4%. Subtype A(H1N1)pdm09 continues to be predominant. RSV activity remains low and stable in North America, while in the Caribbean it reached a positivity rate of 7%, decreasing in the last epidemiological week (EW). SARS-CoV-2 activity has stabilized in North America and is increasing in the Caribbean, where positivity reached 16.8%. In Central America, influenza activity remains elevated but shows a downward trend, with a positivity rate of 10.3%. SARS-CoV-2 and RSV activity remain unchanged this week, with RSV positivity at 11.0%. In the Andean subregion, influenza A activity continues its downward trend with a positivity rate of 7.4%. RSV activity remains high but is trending downward, with a positivity rate of 8.4%, while SARS-CoV-2 circulation remains stable compared to the previous EW. In Brazil and the Southern Cone, influenza activity continues to decline, with a positivity rate of 4.2%. RSV circulation remains unchanged from the previous EW, with a positivity rate of 10.1%, while SARS-CoV-2 activity remains at low levels.
