Regional Situation: Influenza-like illness (ILI) and severe acute respiratory infection (SARI) activity has shown a marked increase in North America, associated with the circulation of RSV and influenza. In other subregions, a general downward trend has been observed. SARS-CoV-2 activity continues to decline, though it shows an upward trend in Brazil, the Southern Cone, and the Andean subregion. Influenza activity has increased in North America and the Caribbean, as well as in some countries of the Andean subregion and the Southern Cone. Finally, RSV activity remains high in certain Caribbean countries and territories, though with a decreasing trend. In North America, RSV activity remains elevated and continues to rise. |
