Regional Situation: In general, North America and parts of the Caribbean maintain an increase in influenza activity mainly associated with influenza A(H1N1)pmdo9, Influenza A(H3N2) and Influenza B/Victoria, while RSV activity remains at epidemic levels but declining. SARS-CoV-2 activity remains low. In Central America, the circulation of influenza A(H1N1)pmd09 has increased in recent weeks, while RSV is declining. SARS-CoV-2 activity remains unchanged from the previous epidemiological week (EW). The Andean subregion shows an increase in the detection of RSV, as well as steady detection of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza type B. Brazil/Southern Cone presents interseasonal levels for influenza B/Victoria and RSV. In the case of SARS-CoV-2, its detection remains stable.
