Caring for a loved one is one of life’s most meaningful, and often most challenging, roles. Unlike professional training or formal degrees, caregiving is a responsibility many of us take on unexpectedly, drawing on skills we’ve built throughout our lives: problem-solving, decision-making, managing stress, and adapting to uncertainty.
In this webinar, a panel of AFSM members with direct caregiving experience will share how they navigate these responsibilities and apply lifelong abilities to support their family members.
The session will be held in English, with simultaneous translation in Spanish available.
This event is part of the contribution of the Association of Former PAHO/WHO Staff Members (AFSM) to the Decade of Healthy Aging in the Americas (2021–2030), supporting efforts to promote healthier, longer lives for older people and their caregivers.
