XVII RedETSA Meeting: 15 Years Strengthening Health Technology Assessment in the Americas
157 encuentro de redetsa

From November 18 to 20, the XVII RedETSA Meeting will take place in Lima, Peru, bringing together health authorities, health technology assessment (HTA) institutions, researchers, healthcare professionals, and international partners to exchange experiences, discuss emerging challenges, and promote evidence-informed decision-making across the Americas. This year's meeting will hold special significance as it commemorates the 15th anniversary of the Health Technology Assessment Network of the Americas (RedETSA).

Organized jointly with the Peruvian National Health Technology Assessment Network (RENETSA), the meeting will focus on prioritization and value frameworks in health technology assessment, an increasingly important topic for supporting transparent, equitable, and sustainable decision-making in the face of the growing volume, complexity, and cost of health technologies. Activities will begin on 18 November with the in-person meeting of RedETSA member institutions, dedicated to reviewing ongoing initiatives and defining strategic directions for the future of the Network. This is a closed session intended exclusively for RedETSA member organizations.

On November 19 and 20, the scientific sessions of the meeting will take place, featuring high-level panels, technical presentations, and the exchange of regional and international experiences. These sessions will be available virtually upon prior registration, while in-person participation will be by invitation and subject to availability. In addition, on the afternoon of 20 November, in-person capacity-building workshops will be held on HTA prioritization, the use of artificial intelligence in systematic reviews, and health technology assessment for rare diseases.
