On 4 June, media reported that the Colombia Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD, per its acronym in Spanish) advised municipal and departmental governments to maintain high alert to severe weather as heavy rains are forecasted over several national territories even though the official rainy season has ended. Between 1 March and 4 June there have been 1,015 severe weather events reported in 481 municipalities in 28 departments. These weather events have affected more than 38,700 families, 55 people have died, 42 were injured, and 4 are currently missing. There were 14,909 homes that have sustained damages and 311 homes were destroyed. The full report is available at: Radio Santa Fe.   
 
Guyana (Update) 
On 6 May, media reported that due to heavy rains and subsequent flooding, hundreds of farms and homes have been affected. In Jawalla, over 150 farms and 60 households were affected, 1 home was destroyed, and 7 families were evacuated. In Quebanang, 85 households were affected and in Kako 120 farms and 12 houses were flooded. In Ominik and Kambora 20 mining camps were flooded, forcing miners to move to higher ground. In Kamarang, 15 households were flooded and 71 farms were destroyed. The Civil Defense Commission (CDC) has distributed 800 food and cleaning supplies, 500 mosquito nets, and continues to provide humanitarian aid. The report is available at: St. Lucia Times
