On 7 April 2021, the Dominican Republic Emergency Operations Center (COE, per its acronym in Spanish) reported 13 provinces remain under alert due to expected heavy rain and flooding. Media is reporting heavy rainfall and flooding caused one fatality in Miches City and damaged several houses. Media is also reporting 16 communities are isolated, due to damage of four bridges and three road sections from flooding and river overflow. Additionally, about 26 aqueducts have been affected, causing water disruptions for more than 286,600 users. Peru 
On 7 April 2021, according the National Institute of Civil Defense (INDECI per its acronym in Spanish), the rise in water levels caused flooding and overflowing of the Marañón and Huallaga rivers in the districts of Barranca, Dátem del Marañón province (Loreto), and Papaplaya, San Martín province (San Martín). This has affected 494 homes, roads, and crop areas in a total of 16 localities in the Barranca district. In Papaplaya the floods affected 506 homes, 1 educational institution, and 2 hectares of crops, in addition to the loss of 140 animals. Additionallly, the National Meteorology and Hydrology Service (SENAMHI as per its acronym in Spanish) issued a yellow alert from 9 April to 10 April due to expected moderate rain, snow, hail, and sleet in the central and southern highlands, accompanied by thunderstorms and wind gusts close to 35 km/h.
