Hurricane Douglas
On 23 July 2020, the United States National Hurricane Center (NOAA) reported that Hurricane Douglas (formerly a tropical storm) is strengthening as it approaches the central Pacific (currently category 3). Tropical Storm Gonzalo
On 23 July 2020, the United States National Hurricane Center (NOAA) reported that Tropical Storm Gonzalo continues westward and is expected to affect portions of the Southern Winward Islands. A hurricane watch is in effect for Barbados, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, while a tropical storm watch is in effect for Trinidad and Tobago and Grenada. Tropical Depression 8
On 23 July 2020, the United States National Hurricane Center (NOAA) reported that Tropical Depression 8 is expected to bring heavy rains over parts of Texas this weekend. A tropical storm watch is in effect for parts of Texas including Port Mansfield, San Luis Pass Texas and High Island Texas. Heavy rain is expected along the Gulf Coast of the United States and the Mexican states of Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, and northern Tamaulipas. The report is available in English at: NOAA
