Tropical Storm Arthur

On 18 May 2020, the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) published a public advisory regarding Tropical Storm Arthur. Per the advisory, the center of Arthur is currently moving away from the state of North Carolina and towards the north-east while tropical-storm-force winds continue over parts of the Outer Banks island group. A tropical storm warning is in effect for Ocracoke Inlet and Albemarle Sounds estuaries, Pamlico county, and Duke town in Dare county, North Carolina. Additionally, swells generated by Arthur are affecting portions of the southeast U.S. coast and are expected to spread northward along the U.S. mid-Atlantic coast during the next day or so.
