Canada and the United States of America  

On 16 November, the British Columbia Emergency Information Services reported evacuation orders for the Cities of Abbotsford and Merritt, The Regional Districts of Cowichan Valley, Fraser Valley, East Kootenay, Nanaimo, Okanagan-Similkameen, Squamish-Lillooet, and Thompson-Nicola, the Indian Bands of Cooks Ferry, Lower Similkameen, and Nooaitch, the District of Kent, and the Town of Princeton due to flood risks caused by heavy rainfall. According to a media report, two motorways connecting Vancouver to other regions of British Colombia were closed after being damaged by flooding. A highway landslide caused one fatality and at least two other people are missing. In Sumas, Washington, reports have indicated that 75% of houses have sustained water damage. Guatemala  

On 16 November, the Guatemala National Coordination System for Disaster Reduction reported that in the month of November there were 6 severe weather incidents reported thus far affecting 3,271 people and injuring 4 people. There were 93 people who were evacuated and 18 people are at risk. Due to the weather incidents, 2 houses are at risk, 3 houses sustained moderate damage, and 11 houses were severely damaged. Additionally, 2 roads were affected and one bridge was destroyed. The report is available at CONRED
