On 21 June, the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), reported that Tropical Storm Claudette caused heavy rains and flooding that damaged 33 homes in Mississippi and 75 homes in Alabama. Damage assessments are currently ongoing. In total there have been 13 fatalities in Alabama with 15-20 injuries. Shelters have opened to support those who have been affected: 1 shelter has been opened in Mississippi with 2 occupants and 2 shelters were opened in Alabama with 48 occupants total. Several roadways in Alabama and Mississippi have closed due to localized flooding; alternate routes have been made available. Response efforts are expected to remain within state and local capabilities and there are no anticipated requests for FEMA assistance. The report is available at FEMA.  

Guatemala  
On 18 June, the Guatemala National Coordination System for Disaster Reduction (CONRED, per its acronym in Spanish), reported 5 severe weather incidents in the departments of Huehuetenango, Sololá, Petén, Suchitepéquez, and Zacapa that affected 694 people. In total, 27 people were evacuated to the homes of relatives or neighbors, 2 homes were reported to be at risk, and 34 homes sustained slight to severe damage. Since the beginning of the rainy season a total of 177 incidents have been reported affecting 340,068 people, causing the evacuation of 4,651 people, 254 of which have been moved to shelters. In total 2 people have been injured and 6 have died due to severe weather conditions. CONRED continues to maintain inter-institutional coordination response efforts to serve the affected communities. On 19 June, media reported that Tropical Storm Dolores has caused damages in 11 municipalities of Mexico. On a preliminary basis, 35 homes have been affected by floods, two homes have been affected by landslides, two vehicles have been damaged due to landslides, and roads have been impacted by trees falling. In Tecpan de Galeana municipality, 12 homes were flooded. The other affected municipalities are Atoyac de Álvarez, Benito Juárez, Ajuchitlán del Progreso, Ometepec, Cuautepec, Igualapa, Metlatonoc, Acapulco, Marquelia, and Chilpancingo. As Tropical Storm Dolores continues its movement towards the northwest, torrential rains are expected in Guerrero, Michoacán and Oaxaca, Nayarit, Jalisco and Colima, Guanajuato, and Mexico state. Members of the Mexican Army are currently preparing to apply the DN-3 plan in an effort to prevent further damages and help the affected communities. The report is available at: Excelsior.
