Colombia (Update)  

On 5 November, the Colombia National Unit for Disaster Reduction (UNGRD as per its acronym in Spanish) reported that red, orange, and yellow alerts have been issued for more than 600 municipalities in the country due to the risk of heavy rain. The most affected departments are Antioquia, Boyacá, Caldas, Casanare, Cundinamarca, Meta, Nariño, Norte de Santander, Quindío, Risaralda, Santander, and Tolima. Forecasts have indicated that as much as 50% more rainfall is expected during the month of November. Between 15 September and 5 November, 368 weather events have been reported affecting 27 departments and 249 municipalities. There have been 117 mass movements, 108 floods, 53 gales, 42 storms, 22 flash floods, 16 torrential floods, 9 hailstorms, and 1 electrical storm. In total, 8,906 families have been affected, 31 people have been injured, 30 deaths have been reported, and 4 people remain missing. Additionally, 6,609 houses have been affected including 93 of which have been destroyed, and 142 roads, 124 vehicular bridges, and 21 pedestrian bridges have sustained damage.
