On 8 June, the Guatemala National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED, per its acronym in Spanish) reported heavy rains that occurred on 7 June that affected 4,048 people across 5 departments. Two incidents related to structural damage caused by the rains occurred in El Porvenir neighborhood in Santa Rosa department and El Mangal Village in San Pedro Nécta Huehuetenango municipality. In Aldea el Rodeo, Huehuetenango, 12 people were evacuated due to a landslide that affected 1 home. Another landslide was reported in Pie del Potrero, San Marcos which affected 7 people. 4 homes sustained moderate damages due to flooding that occurred in Chapinas, Suchitepéquez which affected 17 people. According to the Damage Assessments and Needs Analysis (EDAN, per its acronym in Spanish), in total there were 17 evacuated people and 9 homes that sustained moderate to severe damages in the departments of Huehuetenango, Jalapa, Santa Rosa, San Marcos and Suchitepéquez. On 9 June, the USA Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) reported severe weather and flash flooding that caused evacuations and impacted over 150 homes and over 60 roads in Panola, Sunflower, and Bolivar Counties in Northern Mississippi. 2 Homes flooded in Sunflower County, and 150 homes flooded across various towns in Bolivar county. The current number of evacuees is unknown, the Red Cross has been assisting with displacements and two shelters have opened with an unknown number of occupants in Tallahatchie and Bolivar Counties. According to the National Weather Service, a flash flood warning is currently in effect for Lee, Pontotoc, Union, and Lafayette Counties in Northeast and Northwest Mississippi. Venezuela 

On 8 June, media reported heavy rains that caused 21 landslides and flooding that affected over 100 homes in the municipalities of Benítez and Bermúdez in Sucre state, Venezuela. Benítez municipality was the most affected with 82 impacted homes due to flooding in the Paseo de la Fracia de Dios sector. In Bermúdez municipality heavy rains lasted 12 hours and flooded 19 homes in five sectors: Güiria de la Playa, Playa Grande, Canchunchú, Los Cocos and Calle Independencia. Rivers and streams are being constantly monitored for risk of flooding as additional rains continue to be forecasted. The report is available at: El Pitazo.
