Experts from the region gathered in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from 29 through 30 of March to outline a set of recomendations aimed to strenghen capacities to integrate the ethnic-racial identification in health statistics.
The experts meeting was organized by the Gender, Diversity and Human Rights Office (AD/GDR), the Information and Health Analysis Project, the OPS Regional Plan for Strenghtening Vital Statistics and Health and, the CELADE Populatition Division of CEPAL. It counted on the support of the UN Population Fund (UNFPA).
