25 November to 10 December
The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and the 16 Days of Activism is a valuable opportunity to raise awareness about the profound impact that gender-based violence has, not only on the physical and mental health of survivors but also at a social level and on the development of our communities.
This year, the campaign slogan is "Towards 30 years of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action - a visionary blueprint for achieving gender equality and women’s and girls’ rights everywhere, UNITE to end violence against women and girls."
This period invites us to reaffirm our commitment to collective action, working together to build a future where equality and respect prevail. It is a call to join forces, share resources, and create effective strategies that bring us closer to eliminating violence and protecting the rights of all women and girls.
