Introduction

The Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) is seeking applications from suitably qualified person for a consultancy to support sentinel surveillance of Adverse Events of Special Interest (AESI) and Events Allegedly Attributable to Vaccination or Immunization (ESAVI) by vaccines against COVID-19 in PAHO'S Regional Network of Sentinel Hospitals.

The objective of the consultancy is to review the medical records of discharged patients that have one or more ICD 10 diagnoses codes found on the Brighton Collaboration list of ESAVI or AESI. The records identified are to be coded and inputted in the inpatient Health Information System (HIS) at the Kingston Public Hospital/ Victoria Jubilee Hospital.
