Overview

This report contains a series of national interventions carried out in different countries in Latin America and the Caribbean that exemplify each of the 7 strategies proposed by the RESPECT framework. These interventions or programs were evaluated and have evidence that identifies them as successful programs. Developed by PAHO and UN Women, and benefiting from the collaboration of multiple countries and other partners in Latin America and the Caribbean, the report offers critical information on efforts in the Region that can be learned from and used in the future to prevent and respond to violence against all women and girls around the world. The report offers important guidance for the adaptation and implementation of RESPECT in the Region.
