WHO global strategy for food safety 2022-2030: towards stronger food safety systems and global cooperation

The strategy was developed and coordinated by Dr Amina Benyahia (WHO headquarters) and Mr Cheng Liang (WHO headquarters) with strong support from the Secretariat composed by Dr Elaine Borghi (WHO headquarters), Dr Ottorino Cosivi (Pan American Health Organization/WHO Regional Office for the Americas), Dr Margarita Corrales (Pan American Health Organization/WHO Regional Office for the Americas), Dr Gyanendra Gongal (WHO Regional Office for South-East Asia), Mr Peter Sousa Hoejskov (WHO Regional Office for Europe), Ms Hyunjin Kim (WHO headquarters), Ms Yuki Minato (WHO headquarters), Dr Simone Moraes Raszl (WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific), Dr Lusubilo Mwamakama (WHO Regional Office for Africa) and Dr Philippe Verger (WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean), and under the leadership of Dr Luz Maria De-Regil, Unit Head of Multisectoral Action in Food Systems, Dr Francesco Branca, Director of Nutrition and Food Safety, and Dr Naoko Yamamoto, WHO Assistant Director-General of Healthier Population Division.
