WHEN: On Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 March we will have the policy dialogue in South America on “Human resources for health and lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic: Policy actions to improve health systems response” and we would like to invite you to join the discussions around the topics that might be of your interest.  

TIME:  8:45 Bogotá, Colombia GTM -5  (14:45 GVA).  

BROADCAST:  The meeting will be broadcast in YouTube in English and Spanish so people can include questions and discussions in the chat as well.

The main Objectives of the event are to:

  • Share and discuss the conclusions from the HRH policy dialogues that were held during 2022 between Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru around the document on case studies on the policy response to the COVID-19 pandemic detailed version with annexes on data and regulation for each country.

  • Incorporate other South American countries and regional integration mechanisms into the policy dialogue.

  • Identify new human resources for health topics

  • Agree on roadmap and possible lines of action at the country and sub-regional levels.
